![]() My issue isn't so much that the contestants produced crappy designs (they did), or that the judges were way too lenient on them for it (they were), but rather that the winning cake was not actually the one used at the sponsor's party. I hadn't really taken issue until Season 4 - Episode 6 - "Cobra's Curse", aka "The Snake that Shat the Bed." In this episode, 4 artisans competed to have their cake showcased at the grand opening of a rollercoaster at Busch Gardens. If you aren't familiar, the premise of Cake Wars is that it pits 4 cakemakers against one another to create a jaw-slacking masterpiece worthy of a sponsor's hoity-toity party. As there doesn't appear to be an official subreddit for the show, I wanted to see if anyone else watches and noticed the same things a homie and I did. Okay so I have a series of questions regarding Cake Wars and some shady-ass rulebending. ![]()
